First County Bank is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Robert J. Granata to executive vice president, chief credit and risk officer responsible for the Bank’s mortgage operations, credit administration, and compliance and enterprise risk management programs. Granata, based at the administrative office of First County Bank at 117 Prospect Street in Stamford, oversees the residential underwriting and processing functions. He participates in the formulation, coordination and implementation of new/enhanced products and services throughout the Bank as well as the overall planning and direction of the Bank.

From 2007 to 2010, Granata held the position of first vice president, controller and risk officer. He was then promoted to senior vice president, chief credit and risk officer in 2011. Granata is a board member of Children’s Learning Center (CLC) and has been serving on its Finance Committee since 2007. Granata lives in Trumbull with his wife and four sons.
