With the first day of summer and the longest day of the year behind us it’s time to hit the road. Not having any kids, my wife, Cheryl, and I prefer to travel in September when school is back in session and the weather is still nice, though we have wonderful friends with a lake home we take full advantage of throughout the summer. I think we’re pretty good house guests in that we get invited back quite often. One of the reasons is we always come with a cooler full of goodies. Here is something that travels with us really well:
1 – 16 oz can of frozen limeade
1 – 16 oz can of tequila
1/2 can of triple sec
Add crushed ice and mix
It’s pretty simple. The most difficult part of the recipe is the salt or no salt decision.
