The First County Bank Business Breakfast this morning was a great success with over 80 local business and community leaders as well as nonprofit representatives in attendance.
We hosted this event as a way to exchange experience and ideas, to learn more about our customers’ business needs and to find ways to serve them better.
It was important to talk about the state of the economy and how it affects the success of businesses in our communities. The world economy has been through some rough times over the past few years and the bank regulatory environment has presented new challenges, however, I strongly believe that the new technological advances that we are investing in will present both the Bank and our customers with new opportunities for increased efficiencies and profitability. I am happy to report that First County Bank continues to be a well capitalized institution, with capital levels well above regulatory standards.
In closing, I want to thank all of the participants and attendees for making this forum as engaging as it was.
