[grat•i•tude] The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness
Two words. Just two words and yet they make a world of difference. Two words, followed by two more and you’ve completed the circle of giving and gratitude. A circle that is a force of nature of sorts – energetically building momentum that often breeds more giving and gratitude.
These past few weeks, First County Bank received an inspiring number of Thank You letters from our community non-profits that were awarded grants from the First County Bank Foundation. A picture telling a thousand words, this is only a sampling of the letters we received. And while we at First County Bank are warmed by your touching notes of thanks, we want to say thank you for all that you do for our community. It’s your dedication, care and passion for your work that makes a world of difference in our community. It’s you that helps to build a stronger, thriving community.
Since its inception 10 years ago, the First County Bank Foundation has awarded nearly 500 grants totaling more than $4 million to various organizations in our community. From much needed educational programs to economic development to scholarships, you continue to give and we, the community, are the fortunate recipients. On behalf of First County Bank, we express a resounding you’re welcome to each and every one of you. It is an honor to be an integral part of the circle of giving and gratitude, and we are excited to continue to support the work you do for our children, families and businesses. Gracias, Merci, Danke, Grazie, Arigato, Shukran, Mahalo, Spacibo, Xie Xie, Toda, Efcharisto, Cam on, Khawp khun, Spasibi, Dannaba, Mamnoon. Thank you.
